This incredible Pashtun style vintage two piece ensemble was hand Made in Afghanistan in the late 1960's or early 1970's. It is rare to find the original ensembles intact! We think this would make a great evening dress alternative!

The label reads; T.D.G. MFC. CO. (Abdullah's) PO Box 449 Kabul. Both pieces are made of 100% rusty brown velvet with gold braided embroidery details. The gold braid wraps around the waist of the pants, along the outer sides and the hem.

The waistcoat or vest has a mandarin collar and velvet covered buttons down the front. The high waisted pants zip up the side with a clasp.

We estimate the waistcoat to be a size 6/8 and the pants to be an 8, but encourage you to use the measurements as a guide.
